GENERAL INFORMATION
• Experience with SAP Public Sector implementations is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP with at least one cycle implementation, including configuring, scoping, implementation, testing, post-go-live and production support.

• Provide business process design and configuration services for SAP to produce business solution suite.
• Consultant must have excellent communication skills for direct interaction with the project team & customers. Work activity will be performed at the customer's site in Columbia, SC.

• This position requires strong SAP configuration experience in either the areas of FI, FM, GM, CO, PS, MM, SRM, SEM, HR, PR. , BW or BIS.

• Work with user areas to analyze and optimize business processes, find and solve problems with existing business systems and processes.

• Document specifications for business processes and test procedures and plans. Participate in all aspects of functional and performance testing.

• Work closely with Change Management staff to design and develop the content of material required to successfully transfer knowledge to stakeholders. Work closely to achieve full adoption by end users.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.


Statement of Work For South Carolina Enterprise Information Systems (SCEIS)

SCOPE OF PROJECT
Summary:
Working under the direction of the SCEIS Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) contractor, Budget and Control Board - DSIT and South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS) Executive Oversight Committee, candidates will provide professional services to facilitate the review of the State of South Carolina's SAP Human Resources and Payroll Blueprint. The Consultant will have in-depth knowledge/experience with the SAP HR/PR modules related to state/local public sector organizations.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The HR/PR blueprint review will be conducted as per the overall IV&V Statement of Work as outlined below.\

· Blueprint Review - As the State has chosen to follow SAP's recommended implementation methodology "ASAP", a detail design "Blueprint" for each of the three major areas will be developed. The IV&V shall review the "blueprints" and report findings and recommendations to Project Executives. Specifically this review includes 1) Any addendum to the existing FI/MM Blueprint that adds major functionality 2) Enterprise HR/PR blueprint – initial version and any major addendums or revisions 3) Enterprise Budgeting blueprint – Initial version and any major revisions. These reviews shall focus on the quality of the blueprint relative to the readiness to proceed into realization and rollout of SCEIS and shall include but not limited to the following:

o Verify that stakeholder consensus has been reached regarding business requirements
o Verify that agreed upon business requirements are defined, documented and are detailed to a level sufficient to proceed with system configuration

o Verify that the requirements can be traced through realization and test phases to insure that the end result will satisfy the requirements.

Time-frame: Positions to begin effective on or about 11/6/2008; for approximately 3 months with options to extend in 1 month increments as required by the state.

LOCATION:
Positions will be based at the SCEIS IV&V offices in the Wade Hampton Building, Fourth Floor, in Columbia, South Carolina. Computer network access, phone, and access to printers, copiers, and fax will be provided. Meetings may be held at remote offices of DSIT or other SCEIS stakeholders generally in the Columbia area.
