Hello Associates,

Deployment Analyst

Location: Nashville, TN.

Duration: 3-6 months

Rate: $40/hr MAX

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Deployment Analyst is responsible for the deployment of solutions and enhancements for Business Technology (BT). This position collaborates with Solution Development and Solution Enhancement teams to deploy the solutions and enhancements in a manner that meets business and usability requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Review, analyze, and document deployments

· Apply a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures for software deployment

· Employ best practices and coding standards for deployment

· Provide input and expertise to BT teams involved with the development of deployment specifications, business requirements, and processes

· Work in a self-directed manner to plan, manage, and accomplish multiple tasks and assignments to meet required deadlines

· Perform a variety of complicated tasks that require creativity, experience, and judgment

· Serve as third-tier support for the deployment of solutions and enhancements

· Work with Project Managers to provide input to the development and maintenance of project work plans and capacity plans

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree or other technical degree.

· Minimum of 2 - 4 years of programming and/or deployment experience.

· SQL Plus or SQL +

· Informatica

· MS SQL Server or Oracle - required specific to the following:
o T-SQL or P-SQL or both
o Stored Procedures
o User Defined Functions
o Indexing
o Query plans

· Must be able and willing to travel when needed. Travel is not extensive but required at times.

· Must be able and willing to work extended hours when needed.

· The ability to work effectively with all levels of management, demonstrating creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems.

· High speed internet connectivity at home

· Nice to have
- experience deploying java based web sites using the Apache Tomcat web server
- experience deploying java based web sites that utilize the AXIS SOAP framework
